Beansprouts

Beansprouts are grown hydroponically from mung beans. Once harvested they are washed, chilled and packed. Typically from harvest to the supermarket shelf takes as little as 24 hours, surely one of the freshest products on offer. Kanes are one of the biggest beansprout growers in the country growing 150 tonnes a week.
